Q: Can I use FPV Goggles with my OOri?

A: Yes you can! Although OOri comes with an FPV Screen on the transmitter, you can use a pair of FPV goggles in addition to this as OOri uses 5.8GHz for its video transmission. Any goggles that support 5.8GHz will work immediately with OOri.

Q: Can the OOri be used outdoors?

A: Yes - OOri has been designed to work both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to it's brushless motors, it can handle light winds unlike other small drones of it's size. When using OOri indoors, we recommend you use the included prop guards to protect your property. These are not required for outdoor use and should be removed to improve flight performance.

Q: What is the max speed of OOri?

A: Out of the box, OOri is set to 'Omni Mode' which helps you learn to fly, so in this mode, the speed is limited to 20-25 mbh. By Sep 1, 2018, there will be a new mode available which will allow the OOri to fly at speeds of up to 50mph. With some modification, it can reach up to 60mph. OOri is powered by a 1s 600mAH LiPo. Continued high speed flight will reduce the 6-minute flight time significantly.

Q: What is the flight time of OOri?

A: At this time, in 'Omni Mode' the flight time is around 5-6 minutes. Once the new mode for 'racing' is released, the flight time should still be 3-4 minutes, but your the speed will be in the 50-60 mph.

Q: How do you Charge OOri and the Transmitter?

A: The OOri Batteries and the OOri transmitter are charged via an included micro-USB charger and USB Cable, the same kind of cable and charger used by Android phones (e.g. Samsung, LG, etc..). We will have an external battery charger available by August 1, 2018, which will be able to charge up to 4 batteries simultaneously.
